Guided Tours

Fydell House invites you to have a guided tour by one of the volunteers that work in this grand house, free of charge.

It offers you the chance to step back in time and learn about the history of the Fydell family and Boston in the 18th & 19th century.

Our big mission is to get more local people interested in the history of Boston, we are teaming up with schools in the area, in hope to try and capture the younger generations imagination, to get them more involved with the town.

Boston was once the wealthiest town in the country, our dock was the 2nd biggest importer of cotton, it was also known for having a cattle and livestock market and of course The Stump (St Botolphs), the largest church in England.

There are many great attractions in and around Boston, which we display in our main entrance.

Fydell House also offer you the chance to sit, relax and enjoy a nice Tea/Coffee and Biscuits in our wonderful 18th century style garden, great for them hot sunny days.

 Opening Times

Monday - Friday 10am - 4pm

All refreshments: 50p  Biscuits:50p

Fydell House is a registered charity, all donations are greatly appreciated.
